“Validation” is a fable about the magic of free parking, of looking for the best in people, and how kindness can change your day.
The story starts with a cheerful parking attendant who considers it his job to do more than just validating parking tickets. He wants to validate the customers themselves, delivering compliments about their appearances and the inner qualities behind them. Everyone who comes up to him with a ticket walks away validated as a worthwhile human beings.
Soon, the parking attendant became so popular that people lined up to get their daily validation from him. He then appeared on news broadcasts and even ended up validating very famous people.
His life hits a roadblock when he goes to the DMV to get his driver’s license photo taken and is met with a beautiful photographer whom he can’t get to smile…..
In a turn of events, he then became a photographer who takes the most memorable photos of people with the best smiles on their faces. I will not continue with the movie so as not to spoil the plot. Will leave you to watch the movie yourself and make your own conclusion if this is one of the most motivational short movies ever produced.
