It is true that our body language does affect how others see us, but it may also change how we see ourselves. Social psychologist Amy Cuddy shows us  how we can do “power posing”, that is, standing in a posture of confidence, even when we don’t feel confident. When we do that, we can essentially affect the testosterone and cortisol levels in our brain, and might even have an impact on our chances for success.

She also advised us to Fake It Until We Become It. Even if we are not confident about ourselves, we can still fake it until we make it or become it.

At the Tedx Conference where Amy Cuddy shared this, she has got a standing ovation at the end of her talk. If you think her talk is beneficial to others, please share this with your friends. Thanks.
